There are 2 ways to get a Guaranteed Buyback with Croissant:

1. Shop with Croissant’s browser extensions: Use Croissant’s Safari and Chrome extensions when you check out to access the highest prices and widest selection of eligible Guaranteed Buybacks from over 100 brands and retailers like Shopbop and Lululemon.
   1. Set up your extensions:
      1. On mobile: Download the Croissant app and follow the setup instructions during onboarding to enable the Safari extension. For existing app users, find setup instructions by clicking the Mobile Extension button on the Shop with Croissant screen. Please note: the Safari extension is only available on mobile iOS devices.
      2. On desktop: Install the Croissant Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store. Please note: the Chrome extension is only available on desktop devices.
   2. Activate the extension whenever Guaranteed Buybacks are available in your online shopping journey. Activating while you shop ensures the buybacks are automatically imported to your Collection once you check out with a retailer. Both the mobile Safari extension and the desktop Chrome extension support over 100 brands and retailers, such as Reformation, and The North Face.
   3. See the Guaranteed Buyback value of each item you view while shopping, as well as the total Guaranteed Buyback value of your cart before you check out.
   4. After you check out, visit your Croissant account using the mobile app or web app to view new Guaranteed Buybacks in your Collection!

Setup instructions:

1. Ensure you have the Croissant app installed on your mobile iOS device. You must have the Croissant app and an account to enable the mobile Safari extension. Currently, the mobile extension is only supported on mobile iOS devices.
2. Ensure that Safari is your Default Browser App in your Settings > Safari.

3. Open the Safari app, then tap the AA in the Address Bar.

4. Click "Manage Extensions" from the popup window, then toggle on Croissant. The toggle should be green.


5. A permissions review popup should appear in the top bar. Click “Review.” If you do not see the Review bar pop up, click the AA in the Address Bar again, then tap “Manage Extensions.” You should notice an exclamation mark by the Croissant icon, signaling you need to review permissions.
1. Note: In order to provide Guaranteed Buyback™ Values, we collect basic item information: price, brand, item name, color, and merchant. Croissant’s browser extensions only collect data for sites on our list of supported merchants, and therefore we do not collect shopping or browsing data from sites that are not our supported merchants. We never store data besides item information to offer you Guaranteed Buybacks.


6. Next, click “Always Allow” on the popup window. This ensures you’ll be able to see Guaranteed Buybacks across all supported sites moving forward.

7. Finally, click “Always Allow on Every Website.”

1. Install from extension from the Chrome web store.

2. Click “Enable extension” and sign into your account to start shopping with Croissant.

3. When visiting the website of a Croissant-supported brand, look for a popup window prompting you to “Activate Guaranteed Buybacks.” Ensure activation before checkout to add all eligible items to your Collection.
